This afternoon I’m working on a knitted doll’s body I’m designing. It’s really fun to pick different fairisle patterns and knit half way through them before discovering that they really don’t fit with the stitch decreases! I’m loving the Malabrigo variegated yarn and wondering how many different colours I should really knit this pattern in before deciding whether it works well enough to be a kit. Is this just an excuse for buying more colours of yarn? This is all going on whilst I’m awaiting the boiler man to come, and really hoping that he makes it here before the school pick up……
