I had some serious issues with the stretch of the fabric – I had forgotten why this material had remained unused in the back of my cupboard for so long, but now I remember; it stretches both widthways and lengthways whereas the skin fabric I generally use has only a stretch across the width. So I’m a little behind schedule after having to take a couple of inches (!) off the length of each limb section. The elbow and knee jointing system was inspired and supported by the work of talented dollmaker Susan Walker:
