Call out for Test Knitters

To all of you doll-loving-knitters out there, this post is for you. I have just completed the final edit (I believe) of my first knitting pattern for dolls, which I hope to release in the new year. It’s a cosy, comfortable and adaptable little coat pattern to fit dolls from 12cm/5″ right up to 50cm/20″. The smaller sizes use sock weight yarn and the larger use DK, the pattern is worked in the round on either circular or double pointed needles. This pattern has been thoroughly checked by a talented technical editor (what a learning curve for me!) and I would now like to run it past a few test knitters.

And this is where you might come in. I am looking for test knitters who are confident in their skills, who will join a group on Ravelry to share feedback, and who will leave a review of the pattern on Ravelry when the test knitting process is finished. In return, I can offer you this pattern for free, and a sneak preview of it before the rest of the world has access. Yes, your dolls may have a new coat in time for Christmas! I would also ask that the test knitting is completed by the end of December so that I can mull over your thoughts and experiences before I release the pattern in January. Here’s a quick photo or two to whet your appetite.

So, if you fancy testing the first of this new range of dolls patterns on the market, please do get in touch with me by commenting on this post, or contacting me through the contact page or through my facebook or instagram feeds, or through my email.

Thanks very much, Hannah
